Beefeater Rewards: What Happened to Your Points
Beefeater Grill Reward Club points can no longer be used. Unspent balances were wiped at 7am on 1 September 2026, nine days before every Beefeater closed.

Can I still use my Beefeater rewards points?
No. Unspent Beefeater Grill Reward Club, Bonus Club and Tasty Rewards balances were wiped from the loyalty website at 7am on Tuesday 1 September 2026, according to Beefeater's email to members reported by The Sun.
The scheme gave 5 points for every £1 spent. Once a member had 500 points or more, they could swap them for money off or free food, such as £5 food vouchers and free starters, desserts or bottles of wine, as Keighley News reported on 24 August 2026.
The rewards website, beefeatergrillrewardclub.co.uk, returned a server error when we checked on 15 Oct 2026.
What were the Beefeater rewards deadlines?
Members had to earn points by 24 August 2026, convert them into vouchers and spend them by 31 August 2026. Balances were wiped on 1 September and the restaurants closed on 10 September.

Can I still use a Beefeater gift card?
Not in a Beefeater, because none are open. We have found no published Whitbread statement on Beefeater gift card balances after the closure, so ask whoever issued your card.
Some multi-brand leisure gift cards listed Beefeater as one of several places to spend them. If yours is one of those, check the issuer's current list of restaurants. For a card bought from Beefeater itself, Beefeater's last printed menus gave Whitbread Group PLC, PO Box 777, Dunstable LU5 5XE and 0333 234 1452 for customer comments.
Premier Inn restaurants have not said they accept Beefeater gift cards or reward vouchers. See the Premier Inn restaurant menu for what they serve now.
Is there a Premier Inn rewards scheme instead?
Premier Inn does not run a food rewards card like Beefeater's. Its published food savings are offers: the Meal Deal from £27.99, kids eat breakfast free with a paying adult, and Happy Hour on drinks.

Do Beefeater rewards points still work?
No. Unspent points were wiped at 7am on 1 September 2026, and every Beefeater closed on 10 September 2026.
Can I get money back for unused Beefeater points?
Points were never exchangeable for cash, and Beefeater's notice to members gave no cash-out option. Contact Whitbread if you think you were not told in time.
Did the same happen to Brewers Fayre rewards?
Yes. The Sun reported that Brewers Fayre's loyalty scheme also ended on 31 August 2026, and its 89 restaurants closed on 7 September 2026.
Can I use Beefeater vouchers at Premier Inn?
Premier Inn has published nothing saying it accepts them. Ask the hotel before you order.
