Brewers Fayre Bonus Club: What Happened to Your Points

Can I still use my Brewers Fayre Bonus Club points?

No. Whitbread ended Bonus Club with its other restaurant loyalty schemes: points vouchers had to be spent by 31 August 2026, and unspent balances were wiped from the loyalty website at 7am on Tuesday 1 September 2026.

The Sun reported the deadlines on 27 July and 5 August 2026; the August report quotes Whitbread's email to loyalty members. The Bonus Club website, brewersfayrebonusclub.co.uk, returned a server error when we checked on 17 October 2026, so there is no account to log in to any more.

We have found no Whitbread statement offering compensation for points that were not spent in time.

What were the Bonus Club deadlines?

Members had to earn points or add receipts by 24 August 2026, turn them into vouchers and spend them by 31 August 2026. Balances went on 1 September, and the restaurants closed on 7 September.

How did Brewers Fayre Bonus Club work?

You collected 5 points for every £1 spent on food and drink. At 500 points you could swap them for vouchers, such as a free bottle of wine, two free desserts or two free kids' meals, and members got a free birthday meal voucher by email.

These rules come from the Bonus Club FAQ as saved by the Wayback Machine in June 2025, and its home page saved in April 2026.

• Earning: points were based on the bill after discounts, vouchers and tips. Forgot your card? You could claim from your receipt within 28 days, and points took up to 48 hours to show.
• Other restaurants: from summer 2024 the card worked at Beefeater, Table Table, Cookhouse + Pub, Whitbread Inns and Bar + Block as well, and points vouchers could be spent in any of them.
• Joining: by 2025 the scheme was closed to new members. Points could not be transferred to another card or account.

Can I still use a Brewers Fayre gift card?

Not at a Brewers Fayre, because none are open. We have found no published Whitbread statement on Brewers Fayre gift card balances after the closure, so contact whoever sold you the card.

Brewers Fayre's last menus named the promoter as Whitbread Group PLC, PO Box 777, Dunstable LU5 5XE. Multi-brand leisure gift cards that listed Brewers Fayre may still work at other restaurants on their list: check the card issuer's current list. Premier Inn restaurants have not said they accept Brewers Fayre gift cards or Bonus Club vouchers.

Is there a rewards scheme at Premier Inn restaurants instead?

Premier Inn does not run a food points card like Bonus Club. Its published food savings are offers: the Meal Deal from £27.99, up to two kids eating breakfast free with a paying adult, and Happy Hour on drinks.

Most former Brewers Fayre restaurants sat next to a Premier Inn, and the hotel's own restaurant now serves the Premier Inn restaurant menu. The Premier Inn Meal Deal bundles two courses, a drink and the next morning's breakfast. Beefeater's schemes ended on the same dates: see Beefeater rewards.
